CommuniCare Celebrates 20 Years

20 YEARS | 1,500 STUDENT ACTIVISTS
$1 MILLION DOLLARS GRANTED | 230 NONPROFIT PARTNERS

CommuniCare is celebrating 20 years of grantmaking and giving Oregon high school students an opportunity to learn more about issues affecting their communities and to develop a deeper commitment to social activism. Our program channels The Harold and Arlene Schnitzer CARE Foundation’s commitment to education and stewardship.

Funds raised by the students are matched 10:1 by the CARE Foundation. Eight student groups presented over $80,000 to nonprofit grantees at our annual event, May 22nd, 2017.
